Soccer Game Preview: Agua Fria vs. Estrella Foothills

The Agua Fria Owls will head out on the road to square off against the Estrella Foothills Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Agua Fria is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.

Agua Fria is coming into the matchup on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight wins. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Deer Valley on Wednesday. The Owls found success even though the refs didn't miss a thing: five Agua Fria players were handed yellow cards.

Daniel Elzy and Darryl Taylor scored all three of Agua Fria's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Meanwhile, Estrella Foothills lost 9-1 to ALA - Gilbert North on Wednesday. Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Estrella Foothills' loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Agua Fria, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7.
