Basketball Recap: Webster County Takes a Loss

Webster County lost against Taylor County back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Webster County were dealt a 69-42 loss at the hands of the Taylor County Vikings. Webster County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Webster County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Taylor County, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Webster County and Crawford County will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Crawford County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Webster County likes a good challenge. Taylor County will take on Peach County in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
