Basketball Game Preview: Northwest Webster Cougars vs. Kingsley-Pierson Panthers

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cougars duke it out with the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Northwest Webster is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Northwest Webster lost to South Central Calhoun on the road by a 50-36 margin.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Kingsley-Pierson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They breezed by Lawton-Bronson to the tune of 71-38 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Panthers have posted since December 17, 2024.

Kingsley-Pierson now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Northwest Webster, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.

Northwest Webster came up short against Kingsley-Pierson when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 52-41. Can Northwest Webster avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
