Volleyball Recap: Irvine Comes Up Short

Irvine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the St. Margaret's Tartans, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tartans this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-1 defeat back in March.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-16, 25-12.

Irvine's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for St. Margaret's, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-4.

Irvine does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Margaret's, they will face off against Laguna Beach at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
