Seton LaSalle barely beat Burgettstown the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rebels were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Blue Devils on Wednesday. The Rebels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.
Gianna Ferrieri made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. Ferrieri was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
In other batting news, Meadow Kenard was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with three runs and three RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. Kara Collins also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Seton LaSalle was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .538. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .538 or higher in four consecutive contests.
Seton LaSalle has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
