Johnson-Brock extended their winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Brooklyn Behrends. The Johnson-Brock Eagles breezed by the Pawnee City Indians to the tune of 60-14 on Thursday thanks in part to Behrends, who went 7 for 14 on her way to 17 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.
The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Vice, who posted five points along with seven boards and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in the last four games she's played.
Johnson-Brock pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Pawnee City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
Johnson-Brock will square off against Weeping Water at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
