Volleyball Recap: Savannah Christian Beats Bryan County for Their Third Straight Win

Savannah Christian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Bryan County Redskins with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-8, 25-16.

Savannah Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carinne Cason, who had four aces and three digs. The dominant performance also gave Cason a new career-high in assists (32). Heidi Henninger was another key player, getting eight digs and five aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Savannah Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in three consecutive matchups.

Savannah Christian's victory bumped their record up to 27-10. As for Bryan County, they moved to 19-16 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.
