Ezekiel Academy came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.1 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the East Central HomeSchool Patriots by a score of 54-47. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 70-48 victory the Patriots walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Ezekiel Academy was led to victory by Kelson Free and Elijah Taylor. Free posted 21 points along with eight boards and three steals, while Taylor had 18 points and six rebounds. Taylor continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Gerard Johnson was another key player, putting up seven points and 11 boards.

Ezekiel Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Central HomeSchool only pulled down six offensive rebounds.

East Central HomeSchool lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Josiah Dumas, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds. Dumas has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Knox Cooper, who earned 12 points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Ezekiel Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points per game. As for East Central HomeSchool, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Ezekiel Academy has already played their next game, a 52-50 win against Evangel Christian on the 17th. As for East Central HomeSchool, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 67-58 victory against Wiregrass on the 17th.
