Basketball Recap: Camp Point Central Comes Up Short on the Road Against Galesburg + How To Watch

Camp Point Central kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They had to suffer through a 66-33 loss at the hands of the Galesburg Silver Streaks. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-18.

Defeat or not, Camp Point Central got some senior leadership from Agnes Genenbacher and Gwen Huston. Genenbacher posted nine points, while Huston put up eight points.

Looking ahead, Camp Point Central will venture away from home to square off against Abingdon/Avon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Galesburg, they will challenge Robinson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
