Prout extended their home winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Erin Young. The Prout Crusaders were the clear victor by a 47-26 margin over Central Falls/Blackstone Valley Prep on Thursday thanks to Young, who posted 12 points in addition to eight steals and seven boards. That's the most steals she has posted since back in December of 2024.

The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Martin, who had three points and six steals. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game.

Prout has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.1 points over those games. As for Central Falls/Blackstone Valley Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
