Football Game Preview: Freeman Scotties vs. Asotin Panthers + How To Watch

The Freeman Scotties will challenge the Asotin Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Asotin took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Freeman, who comes in off a win.

Freeman's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 21-0 margin over Northwest Christian School.

Logan Schultz looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 174 yards and a pair of TDs, while also rushing for 59 yards and one touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made four total tackles.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 41 points the game before, Asotin was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were outmatched by Colfax and fell 42-7.

Freeman will have to contain Cody Ells as he made an impact in Asotin's last game. He rushed for 104 yards and one score on only 14 carries. Ells is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 104 every time he's taken the field this season.

Freeman now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Asotin, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Freeman has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 163.7 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Asotin struggles in that department as they've been averaging 204.3 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
