Basketball Game Preview: Foothill Knights vs. Beckman Patriots

The Foothill Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Beckman Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Foothill is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Saturday, Foothill opened the new year with a less-than-successful 73-62 loss to Village Christian. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Monday (60), the Knights still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Beckman also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Palm Springs by a score of 48-41. The game marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Foothill's defeat dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Beckman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-8.

Foothill beat Beckman 70-61 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Foothill since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
