Soccer Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

If Liberty was feeling good fresh off their 6-2 takedown of Frisco last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Liberty Redhawks fell just short of the Lebanon Trail Trail Blazers by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Redhawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trail Blazers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Lebanon Trail, their win bumped their record up to 4-2-2.

Liberty has already played their next contest (against Centennial), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lebanon Trail will challenge Frisco at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lebanon Trail is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.
