Baseball Game Preview: Forest Grove Vikings vs. Glencoe Crimson Tide

For the second straight game, Forest Grove will face off against Glencoe. The Vikings will be playing at home against the Crimson Tide at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Forest Grove's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Glencoe's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Forest Grove is headed into the matchup having just suffered their closest defeat since March 26, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of Glencoe by a score of 9-7. The Vikings have struggled against the Crimson Tide recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

For Glencoe's part, their win was truly a team effort as nine different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was August Ware, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI. Caden Kingsbury was another, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
