Ashville entered their tilt with Sardis on Thursday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Lions. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Lions back in August, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Ashville not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Sardis between 16 and 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-17.

Lydia Northam paced Ashville's offense, picking up 12 kills. Northam got some help from Ryleigh Cothran and her 18 assists. Evelyn Dole controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Ashville's win bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Sardis, their loss dropped their record down to 16-7.

Ashville has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Southeastern on the 18th. As for Sardis, they will host Crossville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
