Soccer Game Preview: Strake Jesuit vs. Foster

The Strake Jesuit Fighting Crusaders will face off against the Foster Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Strake Jesuit will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Strake Jesuit's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Alief Hastings 5-0. The Fighting Crusaders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Saturday Foster sidestepped Alief Hastings for a 1-0 win. That's two games straight that the Falcons have won by just one goal.

Strake Jesuit's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those five contests. As for Foster, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Strake Jesuit beat Foster by a goal in their previous meeting back in February, winning 3-2. Will Strake Jesuit repeat their success, or does Foster have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
