 It may have taken  eight innings to finish the job, but Jackson ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Tuesday. They skirted past the Lake Stevens Vikings  2-1. That's more bragging rights for Jackson, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Quinten Johns looked comfortable as he  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 On the hitting side, Jackson saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Hawkeye Delgado, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 On Lake Stevens' side,  Seth Danielson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Even though they lost, Lake Stevens  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with 14  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Jackson only tossed seven.
 Jackson's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Lake Stevens, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 8-8.
 Jackson will have a chance to go back-to-back against Lake Stevens: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
