Game recap: Creekside wins defensive struggle against Palatka

Creekside (Jacksonville, Fla.) and Palatka (Fla.) both received superb games from their defenses, but Creekside was able to break through the stalemate for a 14-13 win.

The Knights scored on two rushing touchdowns to pull out the win.

The lead that Creekside took on a touchdown with 1:00 left in the second quarter stood up for the duration of the game, as neither team managed to score in the second half.

Jatwan Honor played well for the Panthers. The sophomore running back ran for two touchdowns.



Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 9-3 win for CHS.

In a non-conference game next week Creekside (1-2) takes on Episcopal, and Palatka (1-1) will go up against Baker County also in a non-conference game.
