The Richton Rebels entered their tilt with the Heidelberg Oilers with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. Richton secured a 59-54 W over Heidelberg on Thursday. That's two games straight that Richton has won by exactly five points.
Dakota Amos continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 12 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Brown, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
Richton is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. As for Heidelberg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season.
Richton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-28 victory vs. North Forrest on the 9th. Heidelberg has also already played their next game, a 67-62 win against Collins on the 9th.
