Prestonwood Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was AJ Morreale, who picked up 103 receiving yards and one score. He showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 58 yards. Junior Kniffen also helped out with an impressive 136 receiving yards.

Liberty Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Quinn Murphy, who threw for 339 yards and four TDs. Those 339 passing yards gave Murphy a new career-high. Another back making a difference was Correll Buckhalter, who gained 104 total yards and three touchdowns.

Prestonwood Christian's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-3. As for Liberty Christian, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Prestonwood Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 51-25 victory against Legacy Christian Academy on the 17th. As for Liberty Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 56-28 loss against Parish Episcopal on the 17th.
