Baseball Game Preview: Riverdale Falcons vs. Upper Sandusky Rams

The Riverdale Falcons will head out to take on the Upper Sandusky Rams at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Riverdale lost 8-1 to Wynford on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Royals: they've now lost five in a row.

Riverdale saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grady Phelps, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Meanwhile, Upper Sandusky came up short against Van Buren on Friday and fell 5-2.

Riverdale's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Upper Sandusky, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Riverdale couldn't quite get it done against Upper Sandusky when the teams last played back in April of 2023 as they fell 8-3. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
