Softball Recap: North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays vs. West Central Trojans

North Judson-San Pierre was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 18-3 to the West Central Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to North Judson-San Pierre of the 11-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2022.

Kenya Cooper made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with a home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Lambert, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

On West Central's side, Jaden Erb was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. North Judson-San Pierre now has a losing record at 8-9. As for West Central, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-5.
