South Pointe easily dispatched York last Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The South Pointe Stallions fell just short of the Lancaster Bruins by a score of 61-58 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Stallions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 40th, while the Bruins are ranked fourth).

South Pointe lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ry'Darius Hill, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and ten rebounds. What's more, he also racked up three assists, the most he's had since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Treven Raymon, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 12 boards.
