Football Recap: Randolph-Clay Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Terrell County two weeks ago, Randolph-Clay came back down to earth. The Red Devils took a blow against the Seminole County Indians on Friday, falling 54-24. The Red Devils haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Despite the defeat, Randolph-Clay had strong showings from Rae'Shawn Clyde, who threw for 113 yards and two touchdowns on only nine passes, and Tyre Smith, who picked up 75 receiving yards.

Ellis Denham produced another solid performance throwing for 212 yards and three TDs while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushing for 53 yards on only five carries for Seminole County. Those 212 passing yards gave Denham a new career-high.

Randolph-Clay now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Seminole County, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Randolph-Clay didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 46-35 win against Miller County on the 31st. As for Seminole County, they have also already played their next game, a 36-32 victory against Mitchell County on the 31st.
