Salem has gone a perfect 4-0 against Lumberton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Wildcats will look to defend their home court against the Panthers at 12:00 p.m. Salem is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.

Salem not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Taylorsville.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-11, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Lumberton lost 3-0 to Stringer on Monday.

Lumberton has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for Salem, their victory bumped their record up to 22-6.

Everything went Salem's way against Lumberton in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as Salem made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
