Trinity had won four straight games and Hayli Cox did her part to make it five on Tuesday. Trinity put the hurt on Thomasville with a sharp 3-0 victory with plenty of help from Cox, who had nine kills, six aces, and one block. She is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had six or more in each of the last 14 games she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Trinity took every set by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-7, 25-8.

Trinity's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Thomasville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
