Volleyball Recap: Tessa Purdy's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Libby over Ronan + How To Watch

Libby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Ronan Chiefs. If the Loggers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Chiefs when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 17-25, 25-23, 25-16.

Libby lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Tessa Purdy, who had ten digs and two aces. Jillian Stewert also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Ronan can attribute much of their success to Aubrey Krell, who had 26 digs and two assists. That's the most assists Krell has posted over her last three matches.

Libby's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Ronan, their record is now 7-12.

Libby didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Whitefish on the 2nd. As for Ronan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Browning on the 4th.
