Bay Port won the last time they faced Manitowoc Lincoln and things went their way on Saturday too. The Pirates walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Ships.

Morgan VandenBranden was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Payton Dudra, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Bay Port's record is now 8-15. As for Manitowoc Lincoln, they dropped their record down to 4-18 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Bay Port beat the Ships by a score of 11-8 later that day.
