Volleyball Recap: Mia Schactman and Bailey Biggs Secure Win for Burroughs

Burroughs had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the Whitfield Warriors 3-0. The Bombers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

One reason for the win was Burroughs' just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-9, 25-8.

Burroughs was led to victory by Bailey Biggs and Mia Schactman. Biggs had six digs and three aces, while Schactman had seven digs.

They weren't the only good servers: Burroughs was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 17 consecutive matches.

Burroughs' record now sits at 14-7-1. As for Whitfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17 record this season.
