Baseball Recap: Hamilton Comes Up Short

Hamilton made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Elkhart Christian Academy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Marines fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 9-7 on Monday. The Marines haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Hamilton's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-4. As for Elkhart Christian Academy, their victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-14.

Looking ahead, Elkhart Christian Academy will be playing at home against South Bend Adams at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hamilton will be paying especially close attention to the Eagles' contest: after the Eagles face off against the Eagles, they'll take on Hamilton again at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
