Salem came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Corydon Central, but Jack Fessel wouldn't allow it. The Panthers walked away with a 62-51 victory over the Lions on Friday thanks in part to Fessel, who went 9-for-15 on his way to 22 points along with five assists and five rebounds. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 20 points.

Another player making a difference was Ben Groover, who posted eight points. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 57% in the last seven games he's played.

Corydon Central's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Salem, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Looking ahead, Corydon Central will face off against Paoli at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Salem has already played their next contest (against North Harrison), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
