Football Recap: Van Buren Takes a Loss

Van Buren lost against Pandora-Gilboa back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Black Knights took a blow against the Rockets, falling 42-7. The Black Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

This is the second loss in a row for Van Buren and nudges their season record down to 1-2. As for Pandora-Gilboa, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Van Buren will head out to take on Arlington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Black Knights will need to watch out since the Red Devils have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Pandora-Gilboa, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Leipsic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
