Softball Recap: Versailles Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Versailles). They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Cole Camp Blue Birds on Wednesday. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Versailles pushed their record up to 2-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average this season. As for Cole Camp, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
