Basketball Recap: Kashmere Fighting Rams vs. Wheatley Wildcats
Kashmere was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Wheatley Wildcats 81-13. The Fighting Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-5.
Wheatley found their leader in sophomore Caria Thomas, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine steals. Thomas is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Kashmere's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Wheatley, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.
