Jackson put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the McClain Tigers with a sharp 12-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Ironman/Ironladies, who have now won four games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Jackson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tristan Williams, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. That's the most hits Williams has posted since back in March. Noah Ernst also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Jackson was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .364 or higher in four consecutive matchups.

Jackson pushed their record up to 12-0 with the victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for McClain, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jackson will venture away from home to square off against Miami Trace at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for McClain, they will head out to face off against Clinton-Massie at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
