Soccer Game Preview: Steele vs. Johnson

The Steele Knights are taking a road trip to square off against the Johnson Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Steele is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

If Steele beats Johnson with three goals on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. Steele came out on top against Canyon by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Knights have won by exactly two goals.

Darriyn Morales and Marcos Zuazu scored all three of Steele's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 31 goals.

Meanwhile, Johnson kept a clean sheet against Judson on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Rockets 1-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jaguars.

The victory got Johnson back to even at 8-8-3. As for Steele, their record is now 13-2-3.
