Baseball Recap: Bartlett Has No Trouble Against Streamwood

Bartlett's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Streamwood Sabres a 5-0 shutout. The contest marked the Hawks' most dominant win of the season so far.

Bartlett's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Josh Colaizzi, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI. Another was Gio Scivittaro, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

With the win, Bartlett broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-7-1. As for Streamwood, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Bartlett will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Sabres: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
