Volleyball Game Preview: Naperville North Huskies vs. Neuqua Valley Wildcats

The Naperville North Huskies will venture away from home to square off against the Neuqua Valley Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Naperville North saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of Minooka by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Neuqua Valley took on Plainfield North on Monday. The Wildcats narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Tigers 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Neuqua Valley got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 21-25, 25-23.

Naperville North's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Neuqua Valley, their win bumped their record up to 19-9.

Naperville North couldn't quite get it done against Neuqua Valley in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Huskies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
