Batavia pile up the points against Geneva

The Batavia Blue Devils had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.3 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They claimed a resounding 44-6 win over Geneva at home. The result was nothing new for Batavia, who have now won four matches by 21 points or more so far this season.
Batavia's win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-2. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 35 points. As for Geneva, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
Batavia will head out on the road to face off against Honeoye Falls-Lima at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Honeoye Falls-Lima knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully Batavia likes a good challenge. Geneva does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
