Football Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Lions vs. Columbia Academy Bulldogs        
        
		
             It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Trinity Christian Academy can now relate to. They were beaten by the Columbia Academy Bulldogs 56-21 on Friday. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  50-7.
 Despite the loss, Trinity Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from   Lekhy Thompkins, who rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Trinity Christian Academy is 5-1 when  Thompkins posts two or  more  rushing touchdowns, but 2-4 otherwise.  Gabe Lee also helped out with an impressive 99  receiving yards.
 It was another big night for  Montae Baldwin, who rushed for 193 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry for Columbia Academy. Baldwin showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 54 yards.
 Trinity Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Columbia Academy, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record  this season.
 Trinity Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Columbia Academy, their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Donelson Christian Academy at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Columbia Academy knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Donelson Christian Academy likes a good challenge.
