While Muncie Central has struggled at home with eight straight losses, that wasn't the case on Saturday thanks to Lj Strange. The Muncie Central Bearcats came out on top against the Indianapolis Bishop Chatard Trojans by a score of 63-50 thanks in part to Strange, who made all 8 shots he took for 18 points. Those 18 points gave him a new career-high.

Shemar Taylor was another key player, putting up four points and five assists. He also posted a block, marking his first of the season.

Muncie Central's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Indianapolis Bishop Chatard, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Muncie Central will take on Kokomo at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Kokomo's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games. As for Indianapolis Bishop Chatard, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Covenant Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 29th.
