Baseball Recap: Durant's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Durant won against Tipton on Monday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Wildcats beat the Tigers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-5. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Owen Collier was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Colby Gast was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.

Durant's record now sits at 11-4. As for Tipton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.

Looking ahead, Durant will head out on the road to take on Midland at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tipton, they will welcome Calamus-Wheatland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
