Basketball Game Preview: Pecos Eagles vs. Ozona Lions

The Pecos Eagles will head out to square off against the Ozona Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Pecos is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Pecos took a blow against Presidio, falling 79-26.

Meanwhile, Ozona played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 64-41 to Irion County. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Lions have suffered since February 2nd.

Pecos' loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Ozona, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Pecos suffered a grim 71-51 defeat to Ozona in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Pecos avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
