Soccer Game Preview: Walton vs. Paulding County

The Walton Raiders will challenge the Paulding County Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Paulding County will be up against a hot Walton squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Raiders never let Cambridge get on the board and left with a 4-0 win on Thursday. Given Walton's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked first, while Cambridge are ranked 133rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Paulding County won against New Manchester on Tuesday with ten goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Wednesday. The Patriots were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Hiram. Mackenzie Rabun was a massive factor in the win as she booted in five goals all by herself.

Paulding County's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Walton, their win bumped their record up to 16-1.
