Basketball Recap: Torres Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Torres can now relate to. They fell just short of the Kerman Lions by a score of 56-53 on Saturday. The Toros just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

Torres' defeat dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Kerman, they pushed their record up to 16-11 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Torres does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kerman, they will square off against Santa Maria at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kerman knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 18 matches -- so hopefully Santa Maria likes a good challenge.
