Baseball Recap: Patrick Henry Takes a Loss

If Patrick Henry was feeling good fresh off their 18-3 takedown of Henrico on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Patriots fell just short of the King William Cavaliers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday.

Patrick Henry has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for King William, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Patrick Henry will venture away from home to challenge Mechanicsville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for King William, they will head out to take on Charles City at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
