Volleyball Recap: San Clemente Takes a Loss

San Clemente lost against Centennial back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tritons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Huskies.

Leading Centennial to victory were Mckenna Giles and Peyton Glass. Giles had nine digs and one assist, while Glass had six digs and two aces. That's the most aces Glass has posted since back in September of 2024.

San Clemente's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Centennial, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.

San Clemente and Centennial should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Tritons will challenge El Toro at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (43 vs. 561). Meanwhile, Centennial (ranked 44th) will meet Norco (ranked 611th) at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
