Albemarle won the last time they faced Orange County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Patriots put the hurt on the Fighting Hornets with a sharp 5-1 victory. The result was nothing new for Albemarle, who have now won six contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Orange County with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gavin Appel (2), Adrian Park, Julien Sims, and Declan Wolfe.

Albemarle has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those four games. As for Orange County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8-2.
