Springville entered their tilt with Cedar Valley on Friday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They blew past the Aviators 13-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Red Devils also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Brooklynn Richardson spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, Allyx Haveron was a standout: she went 1-for-4 with one home run and five RBI. Tyler Haveron was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Springville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive contests.

Springville's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Cedar Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-9 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Springville beat Cedar Valley by a score of 16-8 on Tuesday.
