After losing to Mayer the last time they met, Bagdad decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bagdad Sultans claimed a resounding 57-26 win over the Mayer Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Sultans.

Bagdad has also been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Mayer, they dropped their record down to 1-17 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Bagdad will host Salome at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mayer, they will challenge Bagdad at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th.
